Laminine Review: The science of FGF & amino acids combined
Laminine’s simple ingredient is the combination of FGF, amino acids, and other proteins from plant and sea. Fibroblast Growth Factor or FGF is a cell-signaling protein present in the placenta. It’s essential in a baby’s development. FGF remains with the infant to support its full development. Unfortunately, FGF diminishes over time.
We can get FGF extract from a 9-day old partially incubated fertilized egg. It was Dr. John Davidson who first discovered the extract in 1929. Consequently, his patients regain their health. However, his research slept for decades until LifePharm and “egg expert” Dr. Bjodne Eskeland, formulated a perfect blend of the extract we know now as LifePharm’s Laminine®.
The most important function of Laminine
1. Support Cell Tissue Injury
FGF helps “fix the body,” essentially reprogramming adult stem cells and amino acids. Subsequently, it’s mobilized locally when cell injury occurs and tissue remodeling or repair is needed (Wikipedia).
2. Anti-aging and Anti-stress
FGF needs amino acids are natural “repair tools” that work for damaged or aging cells, bones, muscles, nerves or tissue organs. This is the reason why Laminine (that contains FGF and amino acids) show a wide range of benefits in varying parts of the body. High levels of cortisol (stress hormone) accelerate the aging process. A study showed a 23% reduction of cortisol after 12 days of taking Laminine.
Effect of FGF on telomere
Telomere is a compound structure at the end of a chromosome. It’s a protective strand of DNA. Losing telomeres as we age contributes to aging and increased joint pain. FGF activates telomerase lengthening it up to six-fold.
3. Helps reduce joint discomfort
Laminine ingredients have a significant effect on the C Reactive Protein (CRP). CRP is a systemic marker for inflammation. It is elevated in osteoarthritis patients. Being a predictor of progressive disease for osteoarthritis, Laminine helps reduce CRP in those having mild to moderate osteoarthritis symptoms. In addition, Laminine helps restore lost telomeres. A study showed a 6-fold increase in telomere activities, that in turn help reduce joint discomfort.
4. Regulate Normal Blood Sugar
A study published at the PDR, show a significant difference between glucose levels before and after taking Laminine. A change of .04 in Hgb A1c marker measurement before and after 12 weeks of Laminine supplementation in Group B was evident. The preliminary evaluation indicates a possibility that the supplement may have a beneficial effect on helping maintain normal blood glucose in subjects “at risk for developing high blood glucose.”
Dosage and Side-Effects
Laminine is 100% Food Grade, you can take 1-2 capsules per day or higher as needed. You may test for an allergic reaction from eggs by taking 1 capsule per week. To date, there are no serious or adverse side-effects and interaction with drugs or medicine.

“I usually take 2 Laminine capsules in the morning and then 2 sometime in the afternoon. I like to describe my experience as a brain changing because it not only has changed how I feel but how I think.“
Rick G., U.S.A.
“Since using Laminine, I’ve been able to sleep better and now have more mental clarity. I had serious brain and heart difficulties and had to undergo a number of procedures, but was able to recover from them quickly because of Laminine. Laminine has changed my life.”
Shanna M., U.S.A.
“In 2005, my vision worsened, and I was partially blind, unable to speak and terribly demoralized. Before this incident, I drove over 1,000 miles per week. From that point forward, I could no longer drive. However, since I started taking Laminine in November of 2013, my feelings of desperation have dissipated. My vision has improved and I’m living on my own, doing my own shopping, cooking, and cleaning.”
